Hurricane Lowell slammed Kauai last week, and many of Jack’s friends are still facing the aftermath. Roads were destroyed, broken trees are blocking safe travel, and many people have been left without power or reliable clean drinking water. Without electricity, refrigerators and freezers are off, wells and pumps cannot run, and water pressure is low or gone in some neighborhoods. Families are dealing with spoiled food, limited sanitation, and the basic daily struggle of staying safe and hydrated while they wait for the grid and water systems to come back. This fundraiser is for friends in Kauai who are dealing with these urgent day-to-day needs and trying to get through an incredibly difficult time. Right now, they need immediate supplies like propane, large gas cans, chainsaw parts, bar oil, two-stroke oil, battery chargers, battery banks, solar chargers, life straws, and other water-cleaning supplies.

Funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward helping people manage without power, get access to clean drinking water, and keep vehicles fueled so they can get where they need to go. Support will also help provide chainsaws and related materials to clear fallen and broken trees from the roads so people can travel more safely again. Please help if you can and keep Jack’s friends in Kauai in your thoughts. Every donation, no matter the size, will help bring relief, restore access to basic necessities, and support people working hard to care for one another in the wake of Hurricane Lowell.
